Green Spaces Launches New Marketplace in RiNo Featuring 20 Local Vendors and Artists

Green Spaces, a community-driven collective aimed at supporting small businesses and creative entrepreneurs, is set to launch its newest addition, the Green Spaces Marketplace, on April 1. The fully leased small business incubator, located at 2590 Walnut St. in Denver's RiNo Art District, will house over 20 local vendors and artists and offer rental spaces for content creators, local retailers, and community events. The Marketplace will be open to the public with extended hours beginning on Saturday, April 1, from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Founded in 2009 as a co-working space (with new ownership as of 2022), Green Spaces is now home to organizations from a variety of industries, including B-CORP/B-LAB, civil rights law, and marketing and branding agencies. With its cost-effective leasing options and community resources, Green Spaces aims to create a thriving ecosystem and eliminate barriers for emerging businesses.
“Green Spaces is all about creating accessible spaces, nurturing growth, and cultivating collaboration,” said Jevon Taylor, CEO of Green Spaces. “With the Marketplace, we’re adding more than just retail space; this is about building a launch pad for small businesses and creatives to enhance their connections within the community and serving as a foundation for their growth. Green Spaces’ Marketplace also provides an opportunity for Denverites to engage with and support some of our city’s top small businesses and artists.”
Fully leased at opening, the new Marketplace offering will feature a variety of local vendors, including Zero Market, Simple Switch, It’s a Bodega, Love Weld, LAAW Designs, Theo & Amelia, Eternal Balance Candles ,Black + Blossomed, Migas Coffee and Melody Market. The Marketplace will be open to the public and will operate daily from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
“Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, my consistent goal has been to be a catalyst for sustainability, in the many forms it exists in, and to support future generations in the process,” Taylor added. “This space represents an important step towards achieving that goal.”
In addition to owning and operating Green Spaces, Taylor works to provide platforms to amplify the voices of local creators and spearheads various educational and environmental programs throughout the city. As part of the Green Dot Coalition, he’s supported the implementation of more green infrastructure and tree planting in environmentally omitted business districts in Globeville and the greater Five Points neighborhood alongside the National Wildlife Federation and Design Workshop Foundation. He currently serves on RiNo Art District’s Business Improvement District board, where he focuses on providing business and creative support, mobility, and public realm enhancements.
