With Thanksgiving behind us, many families are officially getting into the holiday spirit. Luckily, this Saturday, December 5th, there is a great event happening right here in Five Points to help usher in the season. The Five Points Holiday Stroll is this Saturday from 3 to 6 pm and will offer families the opportunity to participate in classic holiday traditions like kinara making for Kwanzaa as well as shop and support local businesses.

The River Yoga, Sherry’s Soda Shoppe, and Welton Street Café are among the participating businesses and shops along the stroll. The stroll will also offer a chance to give back during the holiday season. When attendees bring a pair of new warm socks to Coffee at the Point for donation, they will be given a Five Points Stroll passport in exchange. This passport can be used to get free warm drinks and other treats from the local businesses along the way.

There will also be holiday storytelling, music, and tree celebrations. All activities will be outdoors and masks and social distancing will be strongly encouraged inside and outside participating shops. Attendees must register for specific activities in advance and each registration will cover one parent and one child. Given limited space and availability, advance registration is advised.
